Tour highlights: Depart from Jo-burg, Okavango Delta, Caprivi National Park - Namibia, Chobe National Park - Botswana, Livingstone - Zambia, Vic Falls, Lusaka, South Luangwa National Park, Luwawa Forest - Malawi, Tanzania, Dar es Slaam.

Day 1: Botswana – Palapye |

We will leave Johannesburg and head north to Botswana. After border formalities we continue towards Palapye where we will spend our first night. |
Day 2-3: Okavango Delta |
|
Our journey takes us through to Maun. We will arrive in the afternoon, leave our truck behind, board our planes, and head into the Delta. After a wonderful scenic flight, we arrive at our base for the next two days. During our time in the Delta we will enjoy the best nature has to offer. We will go on nature walks and explore the delta by Mokoro. The Delta is truly spectacular and an unforgettable experience. |
Day 4: Namibia – Caprivi National Parks |

We will leave the Delta behind us and cross back into Namibia. We travel through the Caprivi National Park on our way to our destination beside the Zambezi River. We will spend the night relaxing next to the mighty river. |
Day 5: Botswana – Chobe National Park |
|
Today is a short drive back into Botswana to Kasane on the banks of the Chobe River. The afternoon river cruise is included in the tour price. Many people take the opportunity to go on the optional morning game drive the following morning.

Day 6-8: Zambia – Livingstone |
|
After crossing into Zambia by ferry, we arrive at our final destination of Victoria Falls. We have lunch and those who want to can visit the Falls. An optional sunset cruise is a very popular experience and includes dinner and drinks.
Most people will spend a day white river rafting, definitely an experience of a lifetime. Vic Falls also offers many other exciting alternatives for those of you who would like to do something different.
We will spend the final day in the falls relaxing on the banks on the Zambezi and finalizing arrangements for our trip.

Day 9-10: Lusaka/Luangwa River |

We leave Vic Falls and head off on our expedition. Traveling towards the bustling Zambian capital of Lusaka takes us along an interesting route. We begin the following day with some shopping in Lusaka before heading northeast towards the Luangwa River where we will spend the night. |
Day 11-12: South Luangwa National Park |
|
We will drive from the Luangwa River to the South Luangwa National Park where we will spend two nights on the banks of the river. The second day is put aside for optional activities. You can choose between a morning and night game drive and a guided game walk accompanied by a professional local guide. If the South Luangwa National Par is not for you, then feel free to relax by the pool.
(On occasion in the rainy season it is impossible or inadvisable to attempt to reach South Luangwa National Park. If this happens, an alternative itinerary will be chosen.)

Day 13: Malawi – Luwawa Forest |

We leave South Luangwa National Park early and pass through the Zambia-Malawi border. We will head north and enter the highlands of Malawi. We will be spending the night at Luwawa Forest. There are some wonderful hikes in the area as well as other optional activities.

Day 14-17: Central/Northern Malawi |

We soon catch sight of the lake where we will spend the next couple of carefree days. For those of you who are a bit more adventurous, there are endless leisure and water sport activities. You can also choose to soak up the atmosphere and relax in one of the most scenic holiday destinations in Africa. In the evenings we will spend time beside the tranquil waters. We will continue a short way further along to the northern part of the lake and camp on the shore close to the Livingstonia Mountains.

Day 18-19: Tanzania – Iringa – Dar Es Salaam |

We will leave the lake behind us and head for our first night in Tanzania. As we climb out of the Great Rift Valley through some spectacular mountain passes, we pass the vast tea plantations in the highlands on the way to our camp outside Iringa. The next day we travel through Mikumi National Park to the historical port city of Dar es Salaam. Those that wish to join the group going to Zanzibar are welcome to do so.
