Tour highlights: Victoria Falls, Chobe National Park, Okavango Delta, Etosha National Park, Cheetah Park, Himba Tribes, Spitz Koppe, Swakopmund, The Red Dunes, The Namib Desert, Fish River Canyon, Cederberg Mountains, Cape Town.

Day 1, 2: Victoria Falls
We will start off with a tour around the world famous Victoria Falls. In the evening we’ll go on a sundowner cruise on the mighty Zambezi River.

Day 3: Chobe National Park
Today we make our way into Botswana and to the Chobe area. Here we will have the opportunity to go on a game drive to view some of the wildlife that Southern Africa has to offer you. We will spend the night in one of the many campsites in the area.

Day 4,5: Northern Okavango Delta
From the Chobe area we make our way into Namibia and to the most northern part of the Okavango Delta. Our campsite is situated on the mighty Kavango river that feeds the Delta. Here wehave the opportunity to hire a canoe and paddle up the river. A village tour can also be arranged with one of the locals in the area.

Day 6, 7: Etosha National Park
We will drive most of the day as we make our way to Etosha National Park for some game viewing. There is a wide range of wildlife that life in the park. Lion, Elephant and Rhino are just a few that you might see. The nights are spent looking over floodlight waterholes, trying to spot some nocturnal animals and birds. During one of our game drives we will visit the Etosha pan where you can see the horizon vanish in the distance.

Day 8: Cheetah Park
We will leave the the National Park we make our way to Kamanjab. Our campsite for the night is situated under the Camel Thorn trees at a Cheetah Park. Here our host’s take us out in an open vehicle where we observe the Cheetah’s being fed. These Cheetah’s are on the red data (endangered) list. This night we will have a chance to experience a traditional African bush Braai (BBQ).

Day 9: Himba Tribes
As we leave the Cheetah Park behind us, we make our way North to the Himba Tribes. The Himba People are easily identified by their clothing. We will spend the evening with the locals listening to their stories and songs around a camp fire.

Day 10: Spitz Koppe
We will make our way to one of the most remote and beautiful campsites in Namibia, the Spitz Koppe. This is a great place to relax and take in the scenery.

Day 11,12,13: Swakopmund
Today we start heading south towards the Namibian Coast line. We will stop along the way at Swakopmund to see the world’s largest seal colony. We will have the opportunity to relax for the next few days in Swakopmund. Your time can be spent walking around the town, doing activities or just relaxing at our accommodation.

Day 14,15: Sesriem
After a hearty breakfast we travel further south to the dunes of Namibia. Our campsite is situated under the thorn trees that shade us from the intense African sun. In the early morning we will drive into the dunes, giving you a chance to climb one of the highest dunes in the world. One highlight of the tour is seeing the sunrise from the top of the dune. In the late afternoon we will visit the Sesriem Canyon.

Day 16: Aus
Our drive takes us through the Naukluft Namib Desert as we make our way to the wild Horses that roam the area. Our campsite is once again situated under the trees that grow in the area. The afternoon is spent relaxing in the beautiful area or climbing one of the mountains in the nearby hills.

Day 17: Fish-river Canyon
Before we depart Namibia, we will spend the night at the world’s second largest canyon in the world, the Fish River Canyon. We spend sunset at the canyon view point taking in the last sights of Namibia.

Day 18: Upington
Today we depart Namibia and make our way back into South Africa. On the way to Upington, we will stop over at the Augrabies water falls and National Park. We will spend the night in a backpackers hostel in Upington.

Day 19: Cederberg Mountains
Our final night as a group is spent in the Cederberg Mountains where there are lots of short hikes you can do.

Day 20: Cape Town
We will leave the Cederberg Mountains behind us and travel to scenic city of Cape Town where our tour comes to an end.
