Day 1 - We depart from
We board open safari vehicles after lunch for our first exciting afternoon game drive taking in the sheer beauty of the African bush along the way, where after we make our way to our secluded safari camp. After settling into camp, we venture out on an exciting evening game drive where we have the opportunity to spot some of the nocturnal wildlife. Returning to camp after dark, we enjoy a scrumptious dinner. Accommodation provided at our private camp situated in a wilderness area away from the normal commercial camps. The purpose of this initiative is to enhance local community development and to enable the local villagers to get involved in Tourism and Conservation efforts. Day 2 - An early rise as we depart our camp at first light. Our game drive takes us to some of the best game drive routes within Kruger, giving us the opportunity to view the varied landscapes, ecosystems and abundant wildlife. The entire day is spent game viewing, bird watching and stopping off at the various waterholes en route. After an awesome day's game viewing we return to camp to enjoy sundowners before heading out on another exciting evening game drive. Upon our arrival back at camp we are greeted with the aroma of traditional Bushveld cooking as we enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of the camp. Day 3 - Up at daybreak, we venture out on an early morning game walk providing us with the opportunity to experience the African bush from a different viewpoint. After breakfast our journey takes us away from the park and onto the Panoramic route, included are stops at God's Window, the Three Rondavels (the Blyde River Canyon), Bourke's Luck Potholes and Mac-Mac Falls. We head for a private game lodge at the Jane Goodall Institute and Chimpanzee sanctuary, arriving in the late afternoon. We spent the rest of the time at leisure, enjoying the facilities that the lodge has to offer. Day 4 - We start the morning with a tour of the Jane Goodall Institute and Chimpanzee project.
